Jyotish
“Vaastujyotish” is
now fast becoming a very popular science. This
science is important but it has been given a lot
of undue importance. There are cases where thousands
of rupees are spent on remodeling and many people
get cheated in such cases which lead to frustrations
& depressions. There is no such thing that
has only negative influences associated with it,
for e.g. it is said that according to “Vaastujyotish”
the main entrance should not face south. But there
are always exceptions to the rule. Even if the
entrance is to the south its effects can be nullified
by studying the birth-chart and taking actions
accordingly. In favorable conditions the ill effects
of “Vaastu” are not pronounced, but
during unfavorable times they become more pronounced
and difficult.
Given below are a few general tips:
Main entrance should always be in the East
– West direction.
The house should not have a basement.
Northern side of the house should be open
and uncluttered.
Heavy furniture should be placed in the
southern direction.
Water storage should be in the North-East
direction.
The gas burners should be placed in the
South-Eastern direction of the kitchen.
For “Vaastu” prediction the “Kundali”
of the owner is essential. His stars can be decided
in accordance to his birth-chart. It will be more
beneficial to see and study the birth-chart of
the owner than just the house of the plan. Didi
believes in removing “Vaastu Dosha”
with minimum changes or remodeling. She suggests
remedial changes after studying the floor plans
